Biscuit Mix
Whole Recipe
Makes:
1 dozen Biscuits
1 pkg Emma’s Biscuit Mix
4 T Unsalted butter (or coconut oil), cold
1 Egg
white
1-1/4 – 1-1/2 C Buttermilk (or
1-1/4 – 1-1/2 C milk + 1-1/2 tsp
apple cider vinegar)
Preheat oven to 450° F.
Grease a baking sheet. Pour Emma’s Gluten
Free Biscuit Mix into medium bowl.
Add the butter and work it into the
mix with your hands until it is crumbly and the size of small peas. Beat the
egg white in a small bowl with a fork until bubbly (does NOT need to be like a
meringue- just bubbly).
Add egg white and buttermilk to
flour and butter mixture and stir until combined.
Using a spoon, drop the dough onto
prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 min. or until golden
brown.
